9 : Various allergies

This time, I’m going to write about various allergies.

 Now the substances which may be said as an antigen are various. And not all these are foods or dirty materials. Most of these are not well-known. But there are many patients of these. For example, there are Latex allergies, allergies to ultra violet rays, celiac diseases, metal allergies, and drug allergies and so on. I will explain about some of these allergies.

First, I’m going to explain about celiac diseases. These are the diseases that glutens in wheat and so on causes disorder reactions. Glutens are one of proteins be contained in wheat or rye, or barley. If you have the diseases and you eat a lot, you may be malnutrition. Because there is a problem in the digestion absorption. This disease may cause poor nutrient absorption and so on. And this disease is rare in Asia. As the symptoms to children of the disease, diarrhea and stomach bloating, stomachaches, vomiting, steatorrhea, constipation, degradation of body weight become irritated. To adults, infertility, abortion, tiredness, sensation of itchiness, pains of bones and joints, iron deficiency anemia, arthritis, osteoporosis, low spirits, numbness in legs, epilepsy and menstrual disorder and so on. As the point at issue, by keep on eating glutens, and it is thought that it may damage to the small intestine and causes liver trouble or cancer of the intestines. To cure the disease, it is need to reduce glutens.

Next, I will write about Latex allergies. Latex is one of ingredient of natural rubber used in gloves for medical purposes. It is gathered up by sap of rubber trees and these contain a lot of proteins. This allergy may affiliate with allergies to melons, bananas, peaches and chestnuts and the like.

Next, I will write about ultra violet rays allergies. These are divided roughly into exogenous photodermatitis and endogenic. The former is by drugs or chemical substances and so on, and the latter is by metabolic disturbance or genetic defect and so on. This allergy may cause itch attendant on exanthema. As this cause, it is that photosensitizer makes ray antigens by catching specific wavelength, and the allergen unites with organism protein and causes allergic diseases. Besides, There are various causes by systemic lupus erythematosus and porphyria and so on. As a cures of ultra violet rays allergies, it is having tested. It is need to test whether the symptoms are by ultra violet rays or other materials. Generally, if the eruptions emerging are looked on the parts of bare skin, it is thought that ultra violet rays may be a case.

Last, I will write about metal allergies. This allergy causes a rash of the skin by metals. As s pathway of entry of the antigens, it is the skin touching with metals directly. For example, the causes directly are metals of necklaces or earrings. Besides, these are also may be causes metals by oral materials, for example, in foods, or dentistry metals.
